In 1930 Babylon had 192 residents in 55 houses.
During the 2nd World War the village was, together with other Chodsko villages, attached to the German Waldmünchen region.
In 1950 Babylon already had 318 residents in 80 houses.
After public reforms in 1960 until 1990 the village became a part of Domazlice.
In 1961 Babylon had 236 residents in 48 houses.
In 1970 Babylon had 213 residents in 61 houses.
In 1980 Babylon had 205 residents in 56 houses.
In 1991 Babylon had 242 residents in 68 houses, out of which 58 were family houses, 24 were recreational objects.
According to the last census in 2001 there are 284 residents in 102 houses (65 family houses, 31 empty houses) and 122 flats.
